I graduated from South Dakota State University with a math degree specializing in education. After I graduated, I began teaching high school-level mathematics. In high school, I tutored two students privately and worked once a week at Brookings South Dakota High School, which was a credit recovery tutoring program. While enrolled at SDSU, I tutored for the SDSU Math Department, working with pre-college algebra students on their homework, as well as at the Math Help Center, where I tutored students one-on-one and proctored exams. I am capable of tutoring students in a wide range of math subjects. I excel at Algebraic topics, easily breaking complex material down in a way that my student can comprehend. As a tutor, I strive to use my math knowledge to change the way students perceive the subject. I believe tutoring is an invaluable supplement to go together with traditional learning.
